Women’s Gliding Weekend, 2nd August

In July 2024 we ran our first Women’s Gliding Weekend at Bidford.  Half day courses which gave an overview of the sport of gliding, and what it is like to be a flying member at Bidford.  The courses sold out (24 places).  Many members turned out during the weekend including most of our women members.  The event was terrific and I think it is safe to say, enjoyed by all who participated. 

We’re going to run the courses again this year on the weekend of 2nd/3rd August.  Last year was so successful we’re hardly changing a thing for this year.  Details of the course and booking process are now on the Women’s Gliding Weekend page of our website
