BGFC Affordable Gliding Scheme

If you are on a low or modest income, you could be eligible for our Affordable Gliding Scheme. This provides a reduced annual membership fee of £52 and an unrestricted number of launches at £9 for each launch up to 1,000 feet. Aerotow launches above 1,000’ receive the same discounted fee of £9 for the first 1,000’ with normal launch fees and flight time charges above that. This represents a significant discount on flight costs charged to full members. To qualify, you need to have an annual income of approximately £21,000 per annum or less.
